A Barwon Heads institution, Annie’s is open all day. Shelves are stocked with the best gourmet supplies from The Bellarine and beyond. There’s a range of meals to take home and serve. Breakfast, lunch, all-day grazing or late week dinners are all available.
Must try: Annie’s Breakfast Board. Available for one or two people it includes free range egg, avo, Meredith goats cheese, bacon, blistered tomato, mushroom pate, charred corn and pea succotash.
A quick and casual café for either breakfast, lunch or a sweet treat at anytime of day.
Must try: a gourmet pie! If you can break the ‘mince meat’ tradition, try a Rogan Josh pie.
It’s hard to recognize this place as the old fire station, it’s now a cool spot to eat and drink. Breakfast, lunch, dinner, grazing in between, or just for a drink. Bonus of a great deck area to enjoy the sun.
Must try: Seafood tastes better by the beach: have the Bouillabaisse – prawns, scallops, white fish, calamari and mussels in a Pernod, chilli and tomato broth with sourdough.
