Ocean Grove Park, Cnr Presidents Ave and Draper Street.
Play spaces, fitness equipment, plenty of room for ball games and walking or riding. This park is special community space, managed by a volunteer association. The open performance hosts several events, including an annual community Christmas carol event.
Shell Road Reserve, 52-60 Shell Road
Next to the Ocean Grove Aquatic Centre, we were glad we brought all the wheels! We had a seven year old on a scooter on the skate park, and a still-learning-to-do-it-without-training-wheels four year old getting some good practice in the wide open spaces on the tennis courts. The playground was fun, but some sibling rivalry having a kick of the footy and soccer ball on the soccer pitches got a lot more giggles.
Lookout Reserve, Lookout Road
A good spot to stop for lunch – a picnic or fish and chips – the lookout reserve has a nice set of equipment and, as the name suggests, gorgeous views to look at while the kids play, and play, and play!
Blue Lake Reserve, 41 Blue Waters Drive
How’s the serenity?! Great paths to walk or ride around the lake, relax in the shade, watch the bird life and have a little fun on the playground.
