Inspirational cycling adventure

I couldn't help but be stopped in my Instagram tracks when seeing incredible images of this red bike popping up all over our Geelong and The Bellarine.

After investigation I noticed it was in fact someone I knew from my time at working weddings.

If you love flowers then you would know Georgie Stanton. Now this all makes sense.

She has an amazing eye for florals and we can see that her artistry flows through to her photography as well.

Georgie has set herself a personal challenge of riding for 365 days and posting these awesome images along the way. She even hopes to pull together a photographic exhibition in 2016 so look out world!

Georgie tells me she finds inspiration by looking at landscape, clouds/sky, the light, shadows, reflections.

Some of her favourite rides include:

Barwon River - just a 90 second roll from my front door and I love it every time

Geelong Waterfront - never disappoints, I love the Promenade and the Royal Geelong Yacht Club

Bellarine Rail Trail - Almost 80km return for me and just stunning scenery.

You Yangs - you can't beat a National Park for wildlife watching,

So far this year Georgie has cycled 4600km, that's taken about 250 hours.

Her biggest ride is 202km in a day and the shortest 2km.

What a legend!
