Geelong & Surrounds
Sport makes the most of the city as a playing surface. With world-class sailing while the streets become racetracks for bikes, cars and triathletes.
The city is unapologetically parochial about local AFL team, the Geelong Cats, and every home game at GMHBA Stadium brings an event feel to town.
As a UNESCO City of Design, creativity is highly valued here too. Fabulous exhibitions of national and international significance are a regular feature at Geelong Gallery and the National Wool Museum.
Geelong Arts Centre is in the midst of an upgrade that will deliver a performance and arts space to attract the very best creative minds and venues across the city host live music and shows.
