Lucky for people with similar interests, we have a whole weekend dedicated to showcasing the world-class, cool-climate Pinot Noir of the Bellarine, Surf Coast, and Moorabool Valley of Geelong.
Held on over two days, Saturday 21 and Sunday 22 May 2022 (with one event on Friday 20 May), Pinot Affair is being hosted across 14 wineries with over 17 events.
So, whether you’re into master classes, meeting the winemakers or sipping on a Pinot while enjoying some Pasta, there’s something for every Pinot lover this May.
Seven Terroirs, One Vintage, One Ethos. This dinner is going to be a celebration of Pinot Noir, the union of vintage, varietal, climate, and soil. It will showcase the winemaking ethos developed through 25 years of study and experience, culminating with a grand experiment in Victorian terroir.
Hosted on Friday 20th May in partnership with Archive Wine Bar & ALMA Restaurant in Geelong, this is one not to miss.
Tickets are $170 and include a 4-course Degustation Dinner and 11 wines.
Austin’s Wines will convert to a Pinot Piazza for a weekend of pinot noir and all things pasta.

Join Leesa Freyer and Stefano Marasco as they throw open the doors at Curlewis Winery for a Pinot Affair. As the owners and winemakers, they love to chat to visitors and wine enthusiasts about our handcrafted wines made with care and love from the oldest pinot vines on the Bellarine.
Inside at Appellation, it’s cosy and snug with the fire blazing and vinyl on the turntable which you can have the chance to choose the tunes from their stack of LPs, sounds delightful.
Enjoy the views of the bay and the city if the weather is right at Terindah Estate as they offer a museum Pinot Noir tasting at $15 per head, these can be enjoyed in the restaurant or cellar door. They’ll have their delicious a la carte lunch menu on offer too, make bookings here.
Memerus on The Bellarine has been producing Pinot Noir on the Bellarine for over 20 years.
This is your chance to meet the winemaker, and taste some back vintages in the winery to see how this fascinating variety has evolved over time.

Held in The Vineyard Room overlooking their lush lawns, Mt Duneed and the Barrabool Hills, Mt Duneed is the perfect space to sit, sip and enjoy the company of friends.

The two-hour experience begins with a Pinot Noir wine flight with samples of Pinot Noir. Enjoy their take on High Tea – A mix of Pinot Noir inspired sweet and savoury delicacies.
You will also receive a bottomless glass of Blanc de Blanc, Moscato or Regional Pinot Noir.
Join the team at Oakdene in the ‘Upside-down House’ cellar door for a seated tasting experience of their award-winning, cool-climate wines, in a setting that is uniquely Oakdene. For the Pinot Affair weekend only, they are bringing out some specially selected museum wines so you can see the differences between vintages, and what careful cellaring can achieve over time.
Tickets to the Museum Flight are $20 and will run from 10am – 4pm both days.
While you’re there you can also enjoy a 2-course lunch for $49 including a glass of Pinot in their onsite restaurant Mr Grubb.
Wine and Dine with Scotchmans Hill Chief Winemaker Robin Brockett. Enjoy an intimate three course lunch with views over the Bay curated by their head chef Andrea Brown and paired with a range of current and exclusively selected Cellar Reserve wines presented by Robin.

And on both days, they will be hosting Pinot Noir Masterclass, in an intimate appreciation of the Estate’s acclaimed, cool maritime climate Pinot Noir. Throughout the weekend you can enjoy a range of Scotchmans Hill Pinot Noir vintages across their Swan Bay, Scotchmans Hill and Cornelius labels in the Cellar Door as well as live music and hearty local food.

Learn more about the evolution of Barwon Ridge’s Pinot Noir. Join Geoff on for a vertical tasting of Barwon Ridge Pinot Noir, accompanied by cheese and nibbles.
They’ll raid the cellar for older vintages back to 2010 and try some yet to be released Pinot Noir.
