Shop until you drop in Geelong and The Bellarine
Whenever I’m off work or my weekends are free, I’m usually scouting the retail scene around town. Even if I don’t buy anything, I love window shopping, finding hidden gems, or keeping mental notes of where to shop for gifts.
Here are some of my favourite go-to shopping spots when I need a little retail therapy.
FRANKIE SAY RELAX
This has to be one of my favourite gift shops, ever. Need a present for the mother-in-law? A new throw for your couch? A cushion for the bed, or a print to hang on the wall? Look no further! Frankie Say Relax literally has everything in the realm of homewares and lifestyle products. They feature a huge range of boutique brands too, so you’re often supporting small or local businesses.
My mum came down for the day, and so I naturally took her (and her credit card) here. Let’s just say I’ll leave the house decorating up to me…

MILL MARKETS
What a place! If you’ve got some serious time to kill, plus the patience to do a little deep diving, then this is the shop for you. The Mill Markets boasts over 12,000 square metres filled to the brim with furniture, records, vintage clothing, books, fine china, glassware, industrial items, jewellery, quality antiques… and everything in between. An insider tip: their sunglasses are super cute. All I can say is, have fun!

Natural Supply Co is the destination for all things natural, organic and zero waste. I’m obsessed with smelling every candle, trying on every perfume, and sampling every makeup product… I could honestly spend forever here! It’s your one-stop-shop for luxe, eco-friendly products for the whole fam. (P.S. It’s a crime to leave without trying Tony’s Chocolonely).

GOOSE
Fun, quirky and colourful, Goose sells a range of gifts, homewares and fashion that are full of personality and sure to stand out from the crowd. It’s the best place to score the perfect gift for a sister, auntie or mum, and treat yourself in the process. I stumbled upon some pants I knew mum would love, and sure enough, she’s making the trip down soon!
