Make the most of this spectacular season and set yourself some Summer goals. Ones that will have you embracing the sunshine, diving to great depths, climbing to new heights and getting lost in the sun of it all. Summer goals should be fun, they should be exciting and they should look a little something like this…
Ride the Tsunami
New to hit the Adventure Park scene is the spectacular Tsunami; a 7.5 storey high and 172m long water ride. This bad boy swirls, twirls, whirls and sucks riders down a serious of tunnels and funnels, getting the adrenaline pumping as you make your way through waters, waves and rips. The slightly terrifying but definitely terrific Tsunami is yours to traverse this Summer. And while donning the bathers and getting a little wet, you should definitely stay on for the thrills and spills of the 20 plus rides and attractions at almighty Adventure Park, including The Tornado, Aqua Racer, Wave Swinger and Wild West Canyon!
Swim with the Seals at Sunset
This remarkable twilight cruise, offered by the very cool crew at Sea All Dolphin Swims, gets patrons into the waters of Port Phillip Bay, swimming and frolicking with the pups of the sea, the Australian Fur Seals. Pull on your snorkel and dive straight in. The friendly seals will soon enough start to duck, dive and dance around you. Adding to this incredible experience is the sight of the setting sun. Departing in the twilight hours means a sensational sunset is all part of the package. You may also get to spy a leaping dolphin too!
Getting lost is so much fun, well it is anyway at Barrabool Maze Estate. Set amongst the tranquil countryside of Barrabool Hills, this magical maze is comprised of soaring hedges that twist and turn, possibly leaving you quite perplexed. If you are clever enough to make it to the centre, you will be rewarded with spectacular views of the estate from the climbing tower. Look back from whence you came and commit it to memory because you need to get back out! With a playground, pristine gardens and café also onsite, there is plenty more to explore once you have solved the puzzle of the Barrabool Maze.
Soar to Great Heights
Rise above it all and ride the Giant Sky Wheel. This lofty beauty is the largest travelling Ferris wheel in the southern hemisphere and is perfectly placed at the Geelong Waterfront. Awarding travellers with an incredible vantage point, the panoramic views are that of both bay and city. You can choose to take a spin day or night during the Summer months. If opting for the latter, you will also be treated to a light show extravaganza as the Giant Sky Wheel illuminates in over 24 amazing light patterns.
