Christmas just got sassy with the amazingly versatile four-piece band, ‘Sassy’, playing at the Potato Shed this December. Their smooth soul singing and gorgeous harmonies will fill your heart with Christmas joy.
Hosted by consummate MC and talented singer, Denis Walter, this much-loved, FREE Christmas festivity will have you singing along to your favourite yuletide carols and hymns. Talented artists from this great region, along with notable Australian performers grace the stage. And then to finish off the night, a dazzling fireworks display.
14 – 15 December
All aboard the Chrissie train. Bellarine Railway are pulling out all the stops with all the trimmings; A carolling elf, a story-reading Mrs Claus, a pressie-giving Santa and of course a terrific train ride.
Enjoy the purr-fect Christmas celebrations with the beloved Geelong Cats. There’ll be signings and photos with AFL and AFLW players, photos with Santa, Cats shop offers, Charles & Co Cafe Specials, photo booth, face painters, kids activities, meet the mascots and a chance for you to check out any available reserved seats for 2020. The crew at 360Q, Queenscliff Harbour invite companies, community groups, clubs and all locals from the Bellarine to Melbourne to celebrate the end of the year together at their joint and jolly Christmas party. Along with a grazing-style gourmet three-course menu, there will also be a rocking live performance from 80s tribute band, ‘Countdown ‘80s’.
A ‘Very Vaudeville Christmas’ will most certainly deck the halls with its bright and energetic performances; live music, dancing, burlesque, stunts, hilarity and special Christmas treats. It’s two hours of outrageous merriment.
Get swept up in the strumming delights and glorious voices of ukulele band, ‘Ukes of a Feather’, as well as a performance from Australian singing group of sisters, StellaR at 360Q’s Carols by the Water. With a Christmas themed menu, it’s both a feast for the belly and for the ears.
What better way to celebrate the day before Christmas than with Carols by Candlelight. Held at picturesque Johnston Park, the programme is packed with Geelong’s best artists and choirs plus the impressive and brassy concert band. This event has been an annual favourite since 1965.
And while in the swing of festivities, let’s not forget about the New Year’s Eve celebrations…
Welcome the New Year in with a roaring good party. Dress up in your best 1920s attire and board the Q Train where for three hours you will feast on their famous degustation menu. Then Charleston your way to the speakeasy at the Queenscliff Brewhouse where you will sip on the best local beer, wine and cider. Time to party like its 1920!
Ring in the New Year with a full belly. 360Q’s gorgeous downstairs restaurant delivers a three-course grazing feast as well as canapes on arrival. Plus there'll be not one, but two firework displays over Queenscliff Harbour.
Take yourself on upstairs and dine on a delectable five-course dinner served with spectacular five-star water views over Queenscliff Marina. Beer, wine, sparkling and soft drink is all inclusive, along with the best seats in the house for the glittering firework displays.
