Thirty Acre Distillery is Bellarine Estates’ latest venture and captures the essence of Bellarine Estate’s vineyard by distilling their grapes to create Thirty Acre Gin.
Bellarine Estate is a 40-hectare property that occupies the north-facing slopes of the hills between Drysdale and Portarlington, overlooking Corio Bay. The vineyard nestles in a valley, sheltered from harsh winds, yet perfectly positioned to capture the sun’s rays. This true maritime climate provides warm days and cool nights which ensure a long, slow ripening season and fruit of exceptional quality. The area’s rich black basalt soils overlying a limestone base further accentuate the fruit flavours to produce world-class vintages.
The true spirit of the field to flask begins by selecting only the finest grapes from our vineyards. Wild fermented, twice distilled, charcoal filtered and macerated with locally inspired botanicals to create a world-class gin that is truly produced from field to flask.
The Thirty Acres Distillery Shaken Cocktails is a growing selection of boutique batched cocktails in single-serve, ready-to-drink bottles – a unique offering perfect for the non-wine drinker in your group. The starting range includes a classic espresso martini.
