8 ways to spend the spring school holidays
Can you believe the spring school holidays are here already? We’ve made it even easier to keep the kids busy – here’s eight things you can do during the school holidays!
Sticky Fingers at MoPA Geelong

During each weekday session at MoPA Geelong these Spring holidays, children are invited to explore the glorious world of food!
Children will interact with a range of materials to express their ideas when designing their very own delicious looking plate or abundant shopping bag. During the design process, MoPA Educators prompt artists to reflect and identify all the different ways in which they enjoy food in their daily lives.
Melbourne Renegades School Holiday Camp
Geelong Indoor Sports | 13 Gravel Pits Rd, South Geelong
Designed for those Junior Gaders 7-10 years old, this one-day camp will feature fun, fully supervised cricket activities, games, giveaways and more.
Parents/guardians do not have to stay for the entire day.
Geelong is currently sold out, but Werribee still has spots!
Dolphin Discovery – Queenscliff
Searoad Ferries | 1 Wharf Street East, Queenscliff
22 September – 28 September
To celebrate the school holidays, Searoad Ferries offer a range of fantastic onboard activities included in the ferry ticket price.
A fun and interactive workshop learning all about Port Phillips unique dolphins and other amazing marine life, including seals and whales! Play games, see dolphin skulls and meet Bella Burrunan the dolphin.
Departing Queenscliff 12pm and 2pm.
Krazy Koala Puppet Show
Searoad Ferries | 1 Wharf Street East, Queenscliff

To celebrate the school holidays, Searoad Ferries offer a range of fantastic onboard activities included in the ferry ticket price.
The Krazy koala puppet show combines catchy tunes, slapstick comedy and a group of charismatic puppets. Kids are invited to join in as the puppets play their favourite songs, including “puppets like to party”.
