Golf The Bellarine Giveaway – Terms & Conditions

Promoter: The Promoter of The Golf The Bellarine giveaway is Tourism Greater Geelong and The Bellarine Inc. (ABN: 26 990 691 173).
Eligibility: Golf The Bellarine giveaway (the “Game of Chance”) is only open to residents of Australia aged eighteen years or over only who sign up at visitgeelongbellarine.com.au/golf-the-bellarine-competition. Employees of the Promoter and their immediate families, suppliers, associated companies and agencies are ineligible to enter. Persons under the age of 18 years are not considered adults and therefore are not able to enter. If a winner is discovered to be under 18, they will automatically be disqualified. The Game of Chance is subject to all applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations. Void where prohibited.
Agreement to Rules: By entering the Game of Chance, the contestant (“You”) agree to comply with and abide by these Rules and the decisions of the Promoter, and you represent and warrant that you meet the eligibility requirements. In addition, you agree to accept the Promoter’s decisions as final and binding as it relates to the content of this Game of Chance. Entrants should look solely to the Promoter with any questions, comments or issues related to the Game of Chance.
Entry Period: The Game of Chance begins at 9:00AM AEST on Wednesday 10 April, 2024 and ends at 11:59PM AEST on Tuesday 23 April, 2024 (the “Entry Period”). Entries submitted before or after the Entry Period will not be eligible.
How to Enter: The Game of Chance must be entered by submitting an entry using the online form provided at visitgeelongbellarine.com.au/golf-the-bellarine-competition and pass any verification requirements (email or fraud score) set by the Promoter. The entry must fulfil all requirements of the Game of Chance, as specified, to be eligible to win a prize. Incomplete or automated entries will be disqualified. Multiple entries from the same IP address, same email address or from automated competition entry services are invalid.
Prize: The winner(s) of the Game of Chance (the “Winner”) will receive the following prize:
– 1 winner(s) will receive two entries into The Epic 2024 golf tournament;
– 5-night stay in premium twin share room at Accommodation @ Curlewis during tournament; and
– A two-course dinner for two at Claribeaux Restaurant during the tournament.
Prize is not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash. No responsibility is accepted for any variation in the value of the prize. Transport to and from an event and all other ancillary costs are the responsibility of the winner.
Odds of Winning: The odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.
Winner Selection and Notification: The Winner will be selected by Random Draw under the supervision of the Promoter and notified via email within 24 hours of the Entry Period closing. The Promoter shall have no liability for a Winner’s failure to receive notices due to spam, junk e-mail or other security settings or for a Winner’s provision of incorrect or otherwise non-functioning contact information. If the Winner cannot be contacted, is ineligible, fails to claim the prize within 48 hours from the time award notification was sent, or fails to timely return a completed and executed declaration and release as required, the prize may be re-allocated. Receipt of the prize offered in this Game of Chance by the Winner is conditioned upon compliance with any and all federal, state, and local laws and regulations. Any violation of these official rules by the Winner at the Promoter’s sole discretion will result in the Winner’s disqualification as winner, and all privileges as winner will be immediately terminated.
Rights Granted by the Entrant: All entries in the competition become the property of the Promoter. The Promoter collects personal information from entrants to conduct the competition and may, in the course of business, disclose the personal information to prize provider(s). Entry in this competition is conditional on provision of the personal information requested. Entries may be entered into a database and the Promoter may use the entrants’ names and addresses for future promotional, marketing and publicity in various forms by the Promoter. The Promoter may share the entry details with the prize provider for future promotional and marketing use. The entrant consents to such uses. Entrants may direct any request to access their personal information to the Promoter.
Terms and Conditions: The Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Game of Chance should virus, bug, non-authorised human intervention, fraud, or other cause beyond the Promoter’s control corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, or proper conduct of the Game of Chance. In such cases, the Promoter may select a winner(s) from eligible entries received before and/or after the action taken by the Promoter if appropriate. The Promoter reserves the right at its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who tampers or attempts to tamper with the entry process or the operation of the Game of Chance or website or violates these Terms & Conditions.
Limitation of Liability: By entering the Game of Chance you agree to release and hold harmless Tourism Greater Geelong and The Bellarine and its subsidiaries, affiliates, advertising and promotion agencies, partners, representatives, agents, successors, assigns, employees, officers and directors from any liability, illness, injury, death, loss, litigation, claim or damage that may occur, directly or indirectly, whether caused by negligence or not, from (i) such entrant’s participation in the Game of Chance and/or his/her acceptance, possession, use, or misuse of any prize or any portion thereof; (ii) unauthorised human intervention in any part of the Game of Chance; (iii) electronic or human error in the administration of the Game of Chance or the processing of entries; (iv) technical errors of any kind, including but not limited to the malfunction of any computer, cable, network, hardware, or software, or other mechanical equipment; (v) the unavailability or inaccessibility of any transmissions, telephone, or Internet service; (vi) printing errors; (vii) lost, late, postage due, misdirected, or undeliverable mail.
Disputes: This Game of Chance is governed by the laws of Australia, without respect to conflict of law doctrines. By participating in this Game of Chance, you agree that any and all disputes that cannot be resolved between the parties, and causes of action arising out of or connected with this Game of Chance, shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, exclusively before a court located in Australia having jurisdiction. Further, in any such dispute, under no circumstances shall You be permitted to obtain awards for, and hereby waives all rights to, punitive, incidental, or consequential damages, including reasonable attorney’s fees, other than actual out-of-pocket expenses (i.e. costs associated with entering the Game of Chance). You further waive all rights to have damages multiplied or increased.
Winner(s) List: To request a copy of the winner(s) list please contact the Promoter. Requests must be sent within four (4) weeks of the end of the Entry Period.
The Game of Chance is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat, YouTube, Reddit, Pinterest, LinkedIn or any other social networks that are used to share the Game of Chance. You understand that you are providing your information to the owner of the Game of Chance and not to Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat, YouTube, Reddit, Pinterest, LinkedIn or any other social networks.
