So, for those in search of their next outdoor adventure, we've gathered together an assortment of sites - camping, powered and caravans - to choose from. Locations, links, facilities and photos for planning your next trip.
Location – Nestled at the entrance to the historic and charming coastal town of Queenscliff.
Sites – Evergreen and lush, recently landscaped with the addition of artificial turf. Catering to tents and camper trailers, all sites are powered and have access to water. They are medium in size (able to accommodate up to 8.2 metres in total length).
Facilities – Indoor adventure playground, 24/7 fitness studio, jumping pillow, indoor heated pool and spa, free kids activities, modern camper’s kitchen, laundry, boat parking available, day spa, coffee delivery, outdoor playground, basketball court, tennis court and onsite shop.
Location – Set on 10 acres and perfectly positioned just minutes from the Geelong Waterfront and CBD.
Sites - Shady and spacious thanks to the well-established tree-lined surrounds. Large drive-through caravan sites and ensuite sites are available.
Facilities - Half-court basketball, dinosaur adventure garden, outdoor heated pool, playgrounds, jumping pillow, camp kitchen, laundry and internet kiosk.
Location - Nestled near the Barwon River and the Blue Waters Lake, and easy access to all that Ocean Grove has on offer.
Sites - A huge array of options from camping to cabins, accommodation for any group or budget including 2 and 3 bedroom units, deluxe cabins, holiday and family villas.
Facilities - Jumping pillow, heated outdoor pool, tennis court, games room, BBQs and basketball too.
Location – Stretching across three locations; Portarlington Holiday Park, Batman Park (Indented Heads) and Anderson Reserve (Indented Heads).
Sites – Bellarine Bayside Holiday Park certainly offers variety. Over 400 sites to choose from across the three locations (each park boasts bayside frontage), sites vary in size, with the largest up to 9x9m.
Facilities - Several playgrounds, camp kitchens, sheltered electric BBQ areas, recreation room, communal TV room, games room, a boat ramp within the park and local football field & tennis court.
Location – Smack bang in the heart of the Bellarine, this Big 4 is surrounded by the beautiful towns of Ocean Grove, Point Lonsdale, Barwon Heads and Drysdale; combining country and beachside camping.
Sites – Self-described as ginormous, they live up to the name. Beautifully maintained grass sites mean plenty of room for you, the family and many an outstretched leg!
Facilities – Basketball court, two jumping pillows, gymnasium, playground, indoor heated pool, tennis court, volleyball, water playground, BMX track, flying fox, camp kitchen, laundry, kiosk, multiple playgrounds, kids activities, toddler pool and theatre room.
Location – This park runs directly along the picturesque water’s edge of the Barwon River.
Sites – Sheltered, flat and shady. All sites are fully serviced, well maintained lawns and easily accommodating to larger rigs.
Facilities – Two playgrounds, camp kitchen, multiple laundries, half basketball court, skate ramp, soccer pitch with goal, cycle and running path along the river and of course abundant river access.
Location – Premium position along the magnificent Barwon Heads coastline. The bridge, the Bluff and the brilliant township can all be seen from the park.
Sites – Choice aplenty; powered waterfront, premium powered (located one row back from water), standard powered and unpowered (suitable for small tents). Sites vary in size, simply have your required dimensions on hand when booking and you will be directed to the most suitable site for your needs.
Facilities - Camp kitchens, BBQ areas, Picnic areas, laundry, tennis courts, basketball ring, playgrounds and the local football oval right in the heart of the park.
Location – Positioned on Barrabool Road along the Barwon River, Riverglen is also only a hop, skip and a jump from the Geelong CBD.
Sites – Gloriously shady with the choice of setting up on grass or concrete slab.
Facilities - Swimming pool, baby pool, jumping pillow, playground, TV room, two camper’s kitchens, laundry and a retro games room haven (table tennis, air hockey, fuss ball, pinball).
Location – Set among some of the state’s richest wildflower habitat, Brisbane Ranges campsite is truly magical. An ideal base to head out on one of the many walking trails. There are four camping areas to choose from; Boar Gully, Fridays, Little River and Old Mill.
Sites – Bookings are essential, and with limited availability you're advised to get organised in advance. The style is of the getting-back-to-nature variety, with some of the camp sites walk-in only.
Facilities – As you may have guessed, these camp sites require some planned packing, as you'll be carrying in everything you need. Yep, everything.
Location – As the name suggests, this park is located at the gateway to the Surfcoast and the Bellarine.
Sites – Sites are equipped with a very convenient ensuite. The park is also pet friendly!
Facilities – Indoor camp kitchen, sheltered BBQ area, games room, TV room, playground, laundry, outdoor swimming pool & spa and shaded baby pool.
Location – Situated just back from Portarlington’s esplanade, you are surrounded by vineyards, rolling hills, olive groves and bay views.
Sites – Different sizes and different locations of sites means Dylene have something to suit everyone’s needs. All sites are powered and have water access.
Facilities – Swimming pool, mini-golf, indoor spa, gym, sauna, playground, games room (equipped with pool tables, table tennis and arcade games), TV room, BBQ area, kiosk, laundry and kayak hire.
Location – A great base point, positioned at the entryway to The Bellarine Peninsula. Choose to travel 15 minutes to Geelong CBD or 15 minutes to unspoiled beaches.
Sites – Pleasant surroundings with powered, ensuite and unpowered sites.
Facilities – Tennis court, BBQ and laundry.
Location – Sitting on the shore of Swan Bay with direct access to the boat ramp and jetty.
Sites – Predominantly playing host to annual holiday sites, Swan Bay does have some powered and unpowered sites available to the public.
Facilities – Swimming pool, toddler’s pool, putting green, tennis court, basketball court, walking track, BBQ facilities, playground, indoor toddler’s playroom, TV and games room (table tennis and pool table).
Location – Along the banks of the Barwon River, five minutes from Geelong CBD and a short car ride to world-class beaches.
Sites – Pristine grounds witha variety of surfaces. Choose from gravelled, grassed, powered, unpowered, with ensuite and/or without ensuite - plenty of options to ensure your camping needs are met.
Facilities – Activity room, BBQ facilities, camp kitchen, laundry, playground, restaurant and swimming pool.
Location – Spanning across four locations; two within Queenscliff (Queenscliff Recreational Reserve and Victoria Park) and two in Point Lonsdale (Royal Park and Golightly Park).
Sites – With four locations on offer, there are varying levels of camping, ranging from powered sites to getting-back-to-basics sites. All sites are lush and offer quick and easy access to the beach.

Location – Just out of Colac is 6 hectares of camping wonderland. Camp along a peaceful shoreline where you can take one step out of your tent and be able to fish to your hearts content.
Sites – Restricted to certain areas due to the park being home to the endangered Corangamite Water Skink. The camping sites are therefore pretty basic, but that is the charm of the sites.
Facilities – Even though the camping area is remote, you still have access to enough facilities that will make your stay a little more comfortable; BBQ, shade areas and toilets.
