Vote for Portarlington and Ocean Grove

Ocean Grove and Portarlington have been named as finalists in the 2026 Victorian Top Tourism Town Awards and we're going for gold!

The awards shine a spotlight on outstanding regional destinations and the winners are partly decided by popular vote, so we need your help to secure both towns gold medals and a chance to proceed to the national awards.

Voting opens 9:00am Friday 29 May, 2026 and closes 5:00pm Friday 26 June, 2026. Votes can be cast by visiting the Victoria Top Tourism Town website and clicking the ‘vote now’ button.

Taking out the title elevates a town’s profile and reputation by highlighting its distinctive local character and tourism experiences. Winning gold is a marketing engine, credibility stamp, and provides great bragging rights for the locals who live there.

Ocean Grove is a finalist in the ‘population over 5,000’ category and Portarlington is a finalist in the ‘population between 1,500 and 5,000’.

Whether it’s beaches, the foreshore, fishing, boating, wildlife and walking trails; or restaurants, growers and makers, wineries, festivals, and golf - there’s no shortage of ways to enjoy Ocean Grove and Portarlington. Taking a minute to cast a vote is a simple way to give back to these towns that give so much.
