Armor Antiques is a locally owned and operated business in central Geelong.
For more than 15 years it has carefully sourced and displayed one of Australia’s largest collections of genuine military uniforms and service memorabilia.
The collection spans military, Police, Red Cross, St Johns Ambulance, Legacy, Salvation Army and Nursing. Visitors can discover Japanese swords, Samurai armour, helmets, antique pistols, uniforms, medals, badges, and militaria from across the world.
One of the most significant items is an original World War One German flag. It was captured at the surrender of the German garrison in Samoa on 29 August 1914, making it the first flag surrendered to Allied forces.
Armor Antiques has three large rooms filled with militaria and collectables. It is a place to spend time browsing, learning and uncovering unique pieces of history. The shop also buys and sells antique swords, guns, helmets, badges, uniforms, medals and books, with a large range of authentic Samurai armour on display.
