Jane Clark is curator, art historian, writer and lecturer. She joined MONA in 2007 during its formative planning phase. Previously, she was Curator of Major Special Exhibitions in Australian and international art at the National Gallery of Victoria and later Deputy Chairman of Sotheby's Australia. Her extensive experience spans museum leadership, exhibitions and the art market.
Laurie Benson served as Curator of International Art at the National Gallery of Victoria for more than 20 years, retiring in 2025. He oversaw the NGV's collection of 19th-century French painting and sculpture and contributed to major exhibitions including The Impressionists, Salvador Dalí: Liquid Desire, Cinema India: The Art of Bollywood, and Monet's Garden.
Emeritus Professor of Art History, Roger Benjamin has taught French art at the Universities of Melbourne and Sydney. A leading scholar of French art and colonialism, his publications include Orientalist Aesthetics, Renoir and Algeria, and essays on Renoir, Matisse and Arthur Streeton.
