Bellarine Smoke Off

This one-day celebration brings smoke, flavour and music together in the heart of the Bellarine Peninsula. Proudly presented by AWM Minerva Foods, the Smoke Off will showcase Australia's top pit masters competing in an official Australian Barbecue Alliance sanctioned American barbecue competition.

The Smoke Off is more than a competition — it's a full-scale festival experience for barbecue lovers, families and music fans alike. Enjoy artisan market stalls, live pit master demonstrations, barbecue culture, and a relaxed outdoor atmosphere. Pair incredible food with award-winning wines from Bellarine Estate Winery, alongside local beers and festival drinks.

Teams will battle it out for a share of $15,000 in prize money, plus trophies and bragging rights. Competition categories include Brisket, Beef, Pork Ribs, and Open Lamb, with pitmasters serving up their best low-and-slow creations for judges and barbecue fans.

The live music stage will keep the energy high with performances from Screamin Eagles, Reece Mastin and his Great Big Beer Band, plus TJR and The Longhorns.
