With a history of being a European Pagan ceremonial ritual of burning the old vine canes that have recently been pruned. Burning of the Canes is a celebration of the rebirth of their vines as the buds start to come back to life. They will be celebrating a successful 2026 harvest whilst welcoming the new season of their 2027 vintage with the hopes that it will be another bountiful and top quality harvest.
This is a 18+ event only. Due to the open fire, this event is not appropriate for those under 18 years of age. Bus transfers from Geelong, Bannockburn, Torquay or Lara are available ($40 per person).
