Circulus Wine is a regeneratively and sustainably farmed, family-owned single vineyard on the Bellarine Peninsula.
We produce cool-climate, maritime-influenced Chardonnay, Fumé Blanc, Pinot Noir, Syrah, and Cabernet Franc. The Circulus Wine vineyard is located over an ancient seabed and surrounded by water on all sides, with the Southern Ocean, Port Phillip Bay, and Corio Bay framing our position. This location creates an interesting maritime-influenced microclimate dominated by persistent cool breezes, which lengthen our growing season and reduce the risk of frost and disease pressure. Owner and winemaker John White oversees every aspect of our regenerative viticulture, guided by a simple yet profound principle: give more to the land than we take from it. This biological approach focuses on building soil health through circular economy practices, recycling, reusing, and regenerating wherever possible. Our minimal intervention philosophy extends from vineyard to cellar, allowing the vines and each vintage to express themselves authentically. We believe the best wines emerge when human hands guide rather than control, letting terroir and season speak with clarity and truth. Circulus Wine welcomes visitors by appointment only, offering intimate experiences that connect you directly with our land and wines. Small group tours combine guided tastings with vineyard walks, sharing the story of our unique site and sustainable practices.
