Geelong Fishing Charters

Geelong Fishing Charters provides fun, family-friendly bay fishing charters suitable for all ages and skillsets aboard their purpose-built fishing vessel, the Sidewinder 1.

The experience departs from Wangim Walk on the Geelong waterfront, and includes all bait, tackle (rods, reels, etc..), hot drinks to start, a good selection of food (including unlimited snacks, BBQ sausages in bread, salad and a sweet), and any fish caught, cleaned, filleted and packed on ice to take away. On board the boat, which holds a maximum of 20 people, there is a snack bar with lollies, chips, handwarmers, and souvenir stubby holders and a licensed bar (open 9am-8pm Sun-Thur & 9am-11pm Fri-Sat). Both credit cards and cash are accepted. There is also a toilet on board. With safety being the priority on all charters, all crew are certified in First Aid and CPR, and hold a WWC check. There is also step-free access via a ramp to also accommodate those using wheelchairs or mobility aids. Private charters are welcomed and are perfect for bucks' parties, hens' dos, birthday/anniversary celebrations, Christmas work break-ups, family reunions, school groups, team-building exercises and spreading of the ashes. On the 2-hr short fishing charters and 4-hr regular fishing charters, children 10-15yrs are half-price and children under 10 are free of charge! (One adult is required per u10) Specialty charters include a 3-hr snapper charter (Sept-Apr) and a 6-hr gummy/snapper or gummy/whiting charter (min age 12 years old).
