The Geelong Fragrance Fair is Australia's first and only dedicated fair for independent and artisanal perfumery.
Presented by Olfactive Society Inc., it returns in 2026 for its second iteration, expanding to three days. The fair is a celebration of Australian scent culture, bringing together independent perfumers, creative directors, fragrance lovers and curious members of the public for a weekend of discovery, conversation and community.
Part marketplace, part festival, part industry gathering, the fair offers something rare: direct access to the makers behind the fragrances, the stories behind the scents, and the community behind the craft. Every Makers Marketplace exhibitor is a founder, perfumer or creative director, never a distributor or department store counter, standing behind their own table ready to share their work.
At the heart of the fair is the Makers Marketplace, an indoor venue hosting independent fragrance brands from across Australia and New Zealand. Alongside it runs a curated program of talks, panels, and workshops exploring the art, science and culture of fragrance, plus an olfactory inspired art exhibition.
