The Portarlington Bayside Miniature Railway provides endless fun for all.

There are train rides, a children's adventure playground, free undercover electric barbecues and kiosk facilities.

Portarlington Bayside Miniature Railway operates on the first and third Sundays of the month (except January when it runs every Sunday) Also operates on Wednesdays during the School Holidays.

Operating hours are during Daylight Savings is 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM and outside of daylight savings is 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM.

Father's Day at the Mini Railway

Bring Dad down to the Railway on Sunday, 6th September, 2026, from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM. The great news is that Dads will ride free all day on this day. There's also been a whisper that Dads may also be in the running for some little treats as well. There will be several lucky tickets drawn during the day and all you need do is buy a train ticket to ride. A big thanks to all volunteers who forgo their own Father's Day to help run these mini trains, they are priceless.
