Portarlington Bayside Miniature Railway operates on the 1st & 3rd Sundays of the month (except January when it runs every Sunday) Also operates on Wednesdays during the School Holidays.
Operating hours are during Daylight Saving 11.00 am to 4.00 pm and outside of daylight savings 11.00am to 3.00 pm.

Winter School Holiday Train
Enjoy this passenger carrying miniature railway situated within the grounds of the Portarlington Bayside Family Park, corner Point Richards and Boat Roads, only 30 minutes by car from Geelong Special trains will run during the Winter School Holidays on Wednesday July and Wednesday 16 July 2025. Trains run at frequent intervals and the cost is only $4 per person for a ride (Children under the age of 2 years travel free). The train ride takes about 10 minutes.
