  • Queenscliff

Few golf courses will be as unique as the one in Queenscliff sitting on an island, nestled on a protected nature reserve home to mobs of kangaroos and the rare orange-bellied parrot it's a bucket-list course to play. Side note - you’ll require ID to enter as it sits on defence land. This 24-hour itinerary will see you exploring the historic maritime township, playing the equally tranquil and unique Queenscliff Golf Course and dining at the harbour-side 360Q.

Getting here

Queenscliff is 1 hour and 30 minutes (105 kilometres) from Melbourne or roughly 30 minutes (31 kilometres) from Geelong by car.

Or bring your gear in the car via the ferry from Sorrento in Mornington Peninsula straight to Queenscliff with Searoad Ferries. The crossing takes 45 minutes.

Flights run regularly between Avalon and Sydney, Gold Coast and Brisbane via Avalon Airport. It's then a 25-minute drive to Geelong with hire cars able to be organised and booked in advance.
