Brace yourselves, Geelong foodies… winter just got a whole lot tastier. The Tastes of Greater Geelong festival is back for another flavour-packed year, and let’s just say, it’s looking delicious!
From Friday 20 June – Sunday 20 July, enjoy a month-long celebration of all things edible, sippable, slurpable and just irresistible.
Now in its 14th year, Tastes is serving up its most flavourful festival yet, including juicy masterclasses, crispy experiences, saucy events, family fun, and local flavours to explore.
The region is already known for its food, wine and hospitality scene, but this year Tastes is going global with the Flavours of the World series. Who needs to go overseas when you’ve got world cuisine dished up in your own backyard?
What’s on the menu?
Here's a sneak peek at just a few of the tasty treats in this year’s program:
🍷 Activity-based dining
Like your meal with a side of creativity? Try Pottery at Provenance with local ceramicist Elizabeth Bell, followed by a locally sourced lunch. Or sip, swirl and splatter your masterpiece at Paint & Sip at Leura Park Estate with Artisans of Australia.
🍸 Demonstrations & masterclasses
Knead your way to bread heaven with Ket Baker’s Sourdough Workshop or enjoy the company of celebrity chef and Maestro ambassador, Adrian Richardson at Fire, Field & Fork.
🍽️ Degustation delights
Treat yourself to next-level noshing with degustation events like the Local Heroes Dinner at Jack Rabbit, Bar Snack Degustation and a 5-Course Nautica Degustation that’ll leave your palate doing a happy dance.
🍕 Family-friendly fun
Kick things off at the Tastes Winter Festival in Johnstone Park, then dive into the G-Kids’ Tasting Trail and explore the Secret World of Food at your local library. (Yes, the kids get to “shop,” cook and compost. Yes, it’s adorable.
