Hey there! Easter's just around the corner, and if you're in Geelong and The Bellarine, there's a heap of fun events lined up. Let us give you the lowdown so you can plan a cracking good time!

Hop to it – Easter Bunny visits Westfield Geelong

Got little ones eager to meet the Easter Bunny? Head over to Westfield Geelong on Thursday, 10th and 17th April, between 11 am and 2 pm. The Bunny will be hopping around, ready for photos and handing out Easter eggs. Plus, there's a fun session to decorate your own bunny ears.

On Good Friday, 18th April, the Bellarine Railway in Queenscliff is hosting scenic train trips along Swan Bay. Trains depart hourly from 11 am to 3 pm. It's a delightful way to spend the day, and all proceeds go to The Royal Children's Hospital Good Friday Appeal. So, you get a lovely ride and support a great cause. Win-win!

Seafood lovers, rejoice! Also on 18th April, from 12:30 pm to 3 pm, Tempo Kitchen & Bar on the Geelong Waterfront is hosting a seafood lunch buffet. Think fresh seafood, premium dishes, and yes, unlimited prawns!

All aboard for some family fun! On Easter Saturday and Sunday, 19th and 20th April, from 11 am to 3 pm, the Mini Railway in Portarlington is the place to be. Saturday's a steal with $2 rides, food, and drinks. Sunday features train rides, hourly lucky draws, and, of course, Easter eggs. Pack a picnic or grab a bite on-site. Plenty of space for the kids to run around—and for dads to show off their train knowledge!

If you love the idea of wine with your Easter egg hunt (who doesn't?), this one’s for you. On Saturday, 19th April, from 10:30 am, Bellarine Estate Winery in Drysdale is hosting an epic family-friendly day. There’s live music, food trucks, winery tastings for the grown-ups, and a whole lot of egg-hunting action for the kids. It’s one of those events where everyone leaves happy—and full.

Fancy a posh afternoon? On Easter Sunday, 20th April, from 2:30 pm to 4:30 pm, 360Q in Queenscliff is hosting a high tea. Indulge in four savoury bites, four sweet treats, bottomless tea and coffee, and free-flowing house sparkling. All while enjoying live jazz from Double Take. Sounds like the perfect way to spend a Sunday arvo!

So, there you have it—a basketful of Easter events to enjoy around Geelong and the Bellarine. Whether you're into trains, seafood, or just hunting for eggs, there's something for everyone. Now, which one will you hop to first?

Still need a place to stay? If you're thinking of turning your Easter day trip into a last-minute mini break, Quest Geelong Central has you sorted.
